Actually the pill should never be split more than it is scored...that is all chemists can guarantee. The only way to safely make certain the "actual medicine" in the compound is equal is to use the liquid. Gee- seems like every pharmacist/chemist knows this except the regulators and users! If you could actually hold the medicine in your hand that goes in the compound, you wouldn't be able to see it. Therefore, you are just splitting the compound. Scoring is as far down as you can go, not filing and water titrating.<BR/>Only liquid. This is why people tend to get "worse" under 10 mg...because they may be getting 2 mg one day and 3 the next and 1 after that, etc...only liquid is reliable.
