Glaxo in the hot seat... again!
With one recent strike against them, GlaxoSmithKline and their miracle pill, Seroxat, face further scrutiny...this time in a Canadian Coroner's Court.
On November the 2nd Sara Carlin will finally be given a voice and hopefully recommendations will be made to how doctors prescribe drugs and how the Canadian medicine regulator [Health Canada] regulates them.
The Toronto Sun runs with the headline, 'What sent Sara over the edge?'
Sara took her own life on May the 6th, 2007. She had been prescribed Seroxat.
This blog will be keeping a close eye on proceedings from November. Preliminary proceedings for the inquest begin tomorrow.

Here's a small montage I made that highlights Canada's own SSRi and other antidepressant problems.
