Gardasil/Cervarix... Just how safe are they?
One of my daughters fell ill less than a week after getting the first of those shots. I was very worried and thought it was from the shot. Turned out to be the swine flu, but my upset and suspicions made me realize that I didn't want my girls to get the rest of the shots because, deep down, I was not convinced they are safe. I think it is better to teach them other, less risky ways to protect their health in this regard. That incident scared me very badly. I am no longer willing to take the risk. For all I know, the injection lowered her normally robust immune system and allowed her to become ill with a contagion when she might not have been so ill without it. Thankfully, she is fine now.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to have a shot next month but after I've read this post, I'm now uncertain. I've also read several blogs discussing this issue and there had been cases of death.
ReplyDeleteI was diagnozed with HPV,and already got my first shot.After I got my first shot,I'm still fine and healthy.But after I read some badnews regarding the Gardasil vaccine,it makes me uncertain to take the second one.Should I continue to take the next 2 shots left?Thanks..
