It comes as no surprise then to find an abstract of a study carried out by Emory researchers and one which was directed by Doug Bremner which claims that "Paxil Improves Memory and Brain Structure In Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Sufferers" [LINK]
The study is from 2003 and Bremner claims: "The findings of this study indicate that Paxil may help reverse memory loss and increase hippocampal volume, leading to clinically significant improvements in memory and concentration that will improve their work and social function. It may also be true that improved memory will help trauma survivors re-integrate and work through memories of their own traumatic events."
For the record Doug. You are talking complete and utter bollocks!
Paxil has ruined my short term memory and many more people.
Where do you people get off with these outrageous claims?
Nice to see that the study was impartially funded, no conflict of interests at all in the funders eh?
Funding for the study was provided by GlaxoSmithKline
As usual this post is open for comments, Doug included.
