...and two months later...
Excerpt from SmithKline Beecham Internal file - Section 3 Issues Management:
Discontinuation Symptoms with Seroxat/Paxil
Discontinuation symptoms following Seroxat/Paxil use are predictable
They occur within the first week of stopping medication
They last up to two weeks
They are unlikely to be confused with relapse or recurrance
Not content with the above nonsense, SmithKline Beecham then go on to blame Pharmaceutical rivals, Lilly, for the fuelling of publications and discussion about Seroxat discontinuation. Page 8
At least back then they were blaming their rivals... they now seem to blame the patient or doctor. They have never once held their hands up and took responsibility.
GSK [formerly SmithKline Beecham] proudly boast the following:
"We have a challenging and inspiring mission: to improve the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer."
..and I've just saw a pig fly past my window!
