Emory 'Expert' offers advice on Cymbalta

I previously wrote about Mental Health Expert Dr. Charles Raison Psychiatrist, Emory University Medical School, who was offering his advice to a patient regarding taking antidepressants whilst pregnant. It seems he has also offered advice to a patient who asked the question whether or not Cymbalta caused aggression?

He answered "... I looked through the most current research findings and didn't see much that would indicate that Cymbalta (generic name duloxetine) produces agitation..."

Full answer here.

Pay attention to the Declaration of Interests of Raison:

Note: Dr. Raison serves on the speakers' bureau and on advisory boards for Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of Cymbalta.

Hardly fair that he should be offering out advice on Cymbalta then is it? It's akin to asking Harold Shipman whether he believes in euthanasia!
