Glaxo shares are biggest FTSE faller after MHRA medical experts say Avandia risks outweigh benefits
GlaxoSmithKline was the biggest faller in the FTSE 100 today after British medical experts demanded that Avandia, its controversial diabetes pill, be withdrawn from sale in the UK.
Glaxo closed down 19.5p at £12.49.
