Ribena's problem was making a claim of any type. I draw your attention to cosmectic and supplement advertising on TV that make no explicit claims but imply effectiveness.
For example note the language used in the Joint Care supplement piece on the Jude Dobson Amcal commercials. "Chondrotin and Glucasamine are widely used" sticks in my mind, which says nothing. White bread is widely used too.
Not to mention the lucrative BioMag and Deer Velvet.
